Behind every team challenge is a human dynamic.
I help teams identify and interrupt the patterns that keep them stuck, so they can work with — not around — each other, and perform at their best, individually and collectively.
The hardest part of leadership is always the human part
Your team is made up of smart, capable, well-intentioned people. Yet despite their expertise, people aren't always seeing eye to eye. Frustrations resurface, tensions go unspoken, and the team isn't operating as the cohesive unit you know it could be, particularly when the pressure is on.
That's what makes this so frustrating: you know how brilliant they'd be if they were delivering at the level of their potential. But humans are humans, and that's what gets in the way. Feedback gets routed through you instead of said directly. Strong personalities pull in different directions. The same dynamic plays out, meeting after meeting.
Over time, these become patterns. The same frustrations. The same conversations. The same dynamics.
This isn't a reflection of their competence. It's what happens when highly capable teams invest heavily in expertise, but not always in how they work together.
Luckily, the human side of work can be learned
As a Team Development Consultant specialising in human behaviour, I help teams identify and interrupt the patterns that keep them stuck, so they can work with - not around - each other and perform at their best, individually and collectively.
Drawing on the Enneagram and other evidence-based frameworks, teams learn to build the awareness and skills needed to navigate their different personality types, strengthen relationships and work together more effectively, so they become a team that trusts, backs and delivers for each other.
Better collaboration. More accountability. And a team that spends more time delivering brilliant work, rather than managing the humans behind it.
Here are the most common ways I support leaders and teams:
-
Build the self-awareness and relational awareness that strong teams are built on.
Using the Enneagram as a foundation, understand your team’s motivations, strengths, blind spots, communication preferences and patterns under pressure.
Develop a deeper understanding of yourselves and each and another, create a shared language for navigating differences, and build the foundations for stronger communication, trust and collaboration.
Ideal for: Teams wanting to build connection, improve trust and strengthen relationships
-
Turn insight into meaningful behaviour change and lasting impact through a 9-month team development programme.
Identify and interrupt the patterns that get in the way of trust, accountability and collective performance.
Through a bespoke combination of workshops, coaching and practical application, build new habits and ways of working that strengthen communication, collaboration, business partnering and leadership effectiveness over time.
Ideal for: Teams navigating growth, change and complexity, who are ready to level up their performance, influence and impact.
-
Stretch your thinking and gain fresh perspective.
Part coaching, part mentoring and consulting. This is a collaborative space where your thinking is stretched, enriched and sharpened.
You bring your challenges, opportunities, ideas and decisions. I bring stretchy questions, fresh perspectives, helpful frameworks and new insight. Together, we work your thinking until clarity emerges.
Ideal for: Leaders, business owners and individuals looking for a thinking partner to help them navigate important opportunities, challenges and decisions.
-
Understand what's really happening beneath the surface.
Through confidential interviews and facilitated conversations, uncover the experiences, perceptions and patterns shaping your culture and team dynamics.
Gain an independent perspective on what's helping, what's hindering and where meaningful change is needed to strengthen engagement, leadership and performance.
Ideal for: Organisations seeking deeper insight into culture, engagement, leadership impact or team effectiveness.
-
Designed around the unique needs of your team.
Address the specific challenges, opportunities and transitions shaping your team's experience.
Whether you're planning a board alignment session, leadership offsite, team reset, strategic planning process or customised development experience, we'll design an approach that fits your team's specific context and goals.
Ideal for: Teams facing a specific challenge, opportunity or moment of transition.
